Shades of Blue by kristen-noel-williford featuring milly tops
Blue has always been my favorite color. Needless to say, I am thrilled to see all of the hues of blue gracing the fashion and beauty world. So I created a Polyvore set dedicated to blue and my favorite ways to wear it. The most simple of which is to throw on a periwinkle bracelet or turquoise sandals. I often combine aqua and white during the summer. In my opinion, the combination is just classic summer and they look beautiful together. On the bolder side of things, I like blue makeup. I know a lot of people out there hate it, but not I. Especially in the case of Chanel's summer 2013 add (far right bottom). How gorgeous is the eye makeup and polish? I especially love their new Stylo Eyeshadow in Blue Bay, which I will be reviewing soon. L'Oreal also has some lovely blue polishes, such as Jet Set to Paris, Not A Cloud in Sight and pictured above, a new shade from their Miss Candy collection. And on lazier (and bad hair) days, I just use a bright hair ribbon to pull my hair up.
