Sephora Collection Gloss Lab

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
I thought this was a set of the High Shine Glosses (which are nice) so I expected it to be amazing.  Of course I didn't realize that these were different glosses, which explains why I did not like them. At all.  But I have tried quite a few glosses, and my lips are drier than most.  I still think this would make a good gift for someone that is new to makeup.
Shades and Pigment
The shades included are gorgeous!  The pigment in the darker shades is nice, but the lighter ones are a lot more sheer than what I like.  In some cases, you could not decipher between shades. This set has 10 0.068 glosses, 7 of which are actual shades and the final 3 are top coats. I apologize for the blurry pictures, but you can still that the shades are sheer and that they look a lot alike.  And I didn't forgot about the last shade. By that point, my lips felt so dry and gross that I did not want to push it.

Texture and Staying Power
The texture is just..yuck.  It feels slightly gritty on top of drying. Worst combination for a gloss.  At least it is not sticky.  These glosses are also sheer, especially the light shades.  They require a good bit of build up so you can even see them.  My lips also stung and felt very dry right after applying the glosses.  Now for the staying power.  It is crap. I don't think this product lasted an hour.  And that is without eating and drinking.

Packaging and Price
This set comes packaged in a cute houndstooth box.  The glosses are not full size, but come across as such when looking at them in the box.  The set is $25 and you get 10 glosses.

Overall Impression
I'm not a fan.  This set did not work well with my dry, sensitive lips and I did not like that the colors looked the same when applied.
