I love to entertain. Having people over for beer and wine, enjoying delicious food and just catching up on life is when I am at my happiest. My recipe for the secret recipe club this month was perfect for those happy entertaining times. Paola moved to the Midwest from Italy for grad school and she makes delicious traditional Italian recipes.
I drooled over her site but knew I found the perfect inspiration when I found her charcuterie plate. Meats + cheese + crackers + olives + nuts + dried fruit = my foodie heaven. I used sopresseta, mortadella, sharp cheddar, grass fed white cheddar, an apricot infused cheese, quince paste, olives, dried apricots and nuts.
Not really a recipe needed for this but a few ideas:

Arrange on a large cutting board or slate cheese board and watch this quickly disappear!
