Seascape Island Apothecary

Whatup! Hope you're all enjoying 2014 so far and fighting through the January blues. I really dislike January (no offense to my boyfriend and my Dad because it's their birthdays), but I just think it's the worst month of the year. Everyone is still trying to get back to reality after Christmas, trying to find some spare change to hit the sales and trying to figure out where they're going in life... I know I am! But anyway, roll on Spring!

My post today is about a couple of products I received in the post a few weeks ago by a lovely, little online store called Seascape. They're products are natural, are not tested on animals and are created from local producers on the Island of Jersey and because I've been to Jersey, I was more than happy to write a review.

How cute is the packaging?
I was a bit reluctant to try both of these products, as I don't actually like the smell of Lavender but because they were created in Jersey, this made me want to give them a go. When I put the body butter on, I actually liked it. The Lavender smell wasn't overpowering and there were a lot more scents escaping, which I liked. The texture is just like any normal body butter but the smell is of it is very unique and it made my skin feel so soft.

Unwind Bath Foam
What is says on the website:
"Contains 100% natural essential oils of Jersey Lavender to soothe and relax and exotic Ylang Ylang to balance the mind and ease tension. Our Unwind range is fragranced with 'pregnancy-safe' essential oils.
No parabens, no silicones, no SLS, no petroleum, no artificial colours, no artificial fragrances."

The bath foam is just like any regular bubble bath but also like the body butter, the smell is unique and it reminded me of Spa's I have been too. Both of these products were very nice to try and I would recommend them to any girl who loves a long, hot bubble bath. I've been searching on the website to see what other products they sell and I really want to try the Peppermint Lip Balm!

Seascape are also have a campaign going at the moment to spread the word on how beautiful Jersey is. If you're interested you can check it out here and all you have to do is upload a picture of your favorite Jersey memory and talk about it.

I went to Jersey a couple of year's ago with my boyfriend and I loved it. The place itself was adorable, the scenery everywhere was incredible the town center is so vintage. We stayed for two nights in a five star hotel called The Grand Jersey, which was absolutely beautiful and it faces the English Channel. I'm not exaggerating at all when I say the hotel was like a palace. We also stayed one night in another hotel 10/15 minutes away called the Shakespeare. It was family run and the little village surrounding it was so cute.We also visited the Durrell Wildlife Zoo, which was really nice.If you ever get the chance to go to Jersey, go. I want to go again!
