Oh my God I want the Clarisonic Mia REAL bad. I want to apply my cleanser with the brush, exfoliate and clean my face like it has never been cleaned before. I want the kelly green one. I WANT IT! But I can't bring myself to spend $119.00 on myself. I just can't do it.
I was at the grocery store spending money on stuff I can justify when this caught my eye....
I swore I would never buy another face cleanser as long as I lived. As a beauty blogger I have received a lot of cleansers and they are all in my bathroom closet, half used, tested and reviewed, waiting for me to want them again. Life time supply. But just look at this! To be honest, I didn't really care about the cleanser. I needed the scrubbie thingy that CAME WITH the cleanser. So I snapped it up. Done.
L'Oreal's Go 360 Clean was designed to give your face a deep cleaning using their ingenious Scrublet. The hand held device scrubs skin, unclogs pores, and removes makeup and nasty grime. The cleanser is offered in various formulations, deep exfoliating, sensitive skin, deep cream cleanser, deep facial cleanser and anti-breakout. All come with their very own Scrublet for your scrubbing pleasure. I chose the deep cream cleanser version which promises to not only deep clean, but to reduce oily areas, dry skin patches and blemishes. So pretty much it is claiming to do it all. The creamy cleanser contains notes of naranji, orange flower, and mint so I would not recommend this for folk with sensitive skin.
The Scrublet has baby fine nubbins on it and a nifty little handle that is a suction cup. So when you run out of the cleanser you can continue to love and use your Scrublet by keeping it on your shower wall.
I wasn't sure how to approach using this product. Should I apply the cleanser to my face first then scrub? Or douse the scrub with cleanser and then apply to my face? I tried it both ways and putting the cleanser on the Scrublet was the best application method. The cleanser smells really good, not overpowering at all, just a light minty clean smell. It yielded tons of creamy, cushiony lather and rinsed easily. My skin looked and felt great after I dried my face. I have to tell you though....I don't think the cleanser has anything to do with it! Sorry L'Oreal. The cleanser is okay, nothing truly amazing. Just an average cleanser. The Scrublet though, I believe is the key to how well it worked. My face was so smooth after using it and I really think that this could be used with any cleanser and it would produce the same results.
I will continue to use the Scrublet with my old cleanser (Ole Henriksen On The Go Cleanser) and I will stick the cleanser in my bathroom closet, with my other slightly used cleansers, until I forget about my experience with it and try it out again.
I will also continue to dream about my kelly green Mia. Maybe Santa will bring me one. Until then, SCRUBLETS RULE!
