SCARYNOTSOSCARY: My First Try to Wakeboard :)

Whoa! first post after a decade hahaha. I am so excited to share with you my first try to wakeboard (finally!!!) Remember my first post about decawake park at clark, angeles city? Well, that was actually the start of a regular bonding session with my cousin. I wasn't really keen on trying to ride a board, be thrown on that water and dragged by the cable wire like I'm used to see while watching those beginners take their turns. I mean who wants to experience such pain and embarrassment? but hey! that's not the end of the story yet. 
So, one day I wake up singing a different tune. "I wanna try to wakeboard!" FOR REAL no more scaredy cat, no more backing out! Woohoo  First thing in the morning I prepared the things that I will bring.

And I'm ready!  Oh! I brought yakult just in case I'll be dragged out on the water and accidentally swallowed the water hahaha.
After 30 - 45 minutes drive from our place we've arrived at the decawake park. First thing to do is to go to the counter and register. After registration they will asked what package you'll avail then they will give you wrist bands. We've availed the P400 ($10) for 2 hours package. 

Bands color differs depending on the package you've availed.

They will also give you life vest, helmet and other basic equipment. If you have your own equipment you are entitled to a 10% discount. Beginners also have instructors that will teach them the basics for free! Isn't that great! Now that we've secured everything that we need we started to have a splash.

See that big grin in the middle? Obviously I've enjoyed my first wakeboarding experience. It was scary at first, but once you already get the hang of it you'll never want to come out of the water anymore .
