I haven't really mentioned it in a while, but this week I've been preparing a couple of fun games for us to do during Girls Day Out. I'm worried that I've been making things a little too hard, or too easy (ARGH!)
If anyone is interested in coming to Girls Day Out, and hasn't expressed at interest, there is of course still time.
I'd really love to have an idea of numbers by the end of July, but absolutely everyone is welcome to come :)

I'm not a very fast reader, so I'm still reading Gone, as I was last week, but after taking photo's of Harry Potter on Thursday for yesterdays post, I am really tempted to read them all again...!
Watching...
I'm one of "that" generation that didn't grow up with Doctor Who, because it wasn't really much on TV during 99% of the 1990s and half of the 2000s, so I kinda bypassed it, and I really can not watch the new ones, despite how awesome David Tennant was, purely because I can't help feeling like it's incredibly "dumbed-down".
I think that's why I really fell in love with Torchwood, because it feels like everything that I expected of Doctor Who. It's intelligent, with strong characters, great plotlines and not in the slightest dumbed down.
So, you can imagine how excited I was to discover that it was FINALLY coming back, after two years. And it didn't even bother me that it was predominantly going to be "American".
And then I watched it...and....it SUCKED!
It just does not feel like Torchwood anymore...I dunno, maybe it'll get better. We'll see I suppose.

Well I've just discovered that I have missed two albums by Plain White T's so I have been catching up on those...scandalous I tell you!! And very shameful. But thank goodness for Spotify!! :)
