Yoohoo! How’s your Monday going? I know, I know, some would say blue, while others like me would happily declare it rainbow coloured – simply cos I’m particularly excited about this bunch of products I’ll be reviewing today – they come from Etude House’s Christmas 2015 collection, which is named Snowy Dessert. Now it’s no secret that I’m crazy about lip colours, and after seeing today’s review, you might be a convert like me! Presenting Etude House’s Snowy Dessert Pudding Tints~~

- Strawberry: Deep pinkish-red with blue undertones
- Lychee: Orangey red
- Grapefruit: Sheer pink tint

The Packaging: I have to give props to Etude House for creating the cutest little box packaging that sort of resembles a cute takeaway cake box! Isn’t it absolutely adorable? It opens up to reveal a little tub that sort of feels like glass (slightly heavy and would probably break if I dropped it on the floor). There’s a screw-on lid with the cutest design on it. squeals. Oh and yes, there’s also a spatula for you to scoop the pudding tint out.
The Scent: Now this is where I’m pretty impressed – the Pudding Tints come in 5 different varieties (Apple, Lychee, Grapefruit, Strawberry and Apricot/Peach). Each one really smells like its name!
The Texture: It’s a soft bouncy gel consistency – think of Vaseline that’s half melted. It does not rebound back into its original untouched form after you’ve scooped out product, but it does sort of rebound and fill up gently so it looks like a little pond instead of a meteor crash site (if you get what I mean heh). It really feels like jelly when you’re using your fingers to prod it, but I personally find it more convenient and hygienic to pick up the product using the spatula. It spreads very smoothly – kinda like a honey-based gel/marshmallow, but not sticky at all.
The Verdict: The colours are amayzingly vibrant and intensely pigmented, with a rather glossy finish. Spread a little on the inside of the lips for that just-bitten Kbeauty gradient ombre lips look, or apply a full coat to get those smexy lips. Tip: Use a lip brush to apply because these babies are so strong in color that I found myself with reddened fingertips the first time I applied them using my fingers. You’ll also get a more precise application around the corners using the brush. They lasted the entire day (I kid you not), fading from a 200% vibrancy to a 90% vibrancy after eating, drinking, and the occasional itchy-finger-must-peel-flaking-lips stages. Should you get them? YES. And note that I say “them” hurhurhur. I can’t pick my favorite unfortunately, and I see you suffering from the same dilemma heh. Ah well, #firstworldproblems that we beauty junkies face. Head on down to your nearest Etude House to pick up these babies naooooo.
