It’s been a while since I actually did some browsing and shopping at the drugstores (it’s usually like a ONS situation for me – zip-in-and-out hurhurhur), so I do overlook the fact that there are a plethora of mass market products there for browsing, like this one.
Neutrogena Fine Fairness Cleanser

I say…
The Packaging: A slim tube with a screw-on cap. Nothing out of the world, and pretty functional.
The Scent: A fragrant scent that’s not overpowering. It doesn’t linger on for long though – once you’ve dried your face, it’s gone.
The Texture: A creamy texture that lathers up into a foam that isn’t too dense. It’s a pretty lightweight cleanser, and for a whitening/brightening product, it’s surprisingly hydrating (compared with the usual norm of being a bit drying/stripping).
The Verdict: This is one of the gentlest brightening facial cleansers I’ve tried – on one hand, it doesn’t have that stripped-dry feeling where your skin is left feeling very tight after a cleanse. On the other hand, I must say that my skin doesn’t feel thoroughly cleansed of the day’s dirt and grime build-up, and I have a need to double cleanse with another cleanser (in this case, I use Cetaphil’s Gentle Skin Cleanser). The product itself doesn’t cause much breakout, but I do notice a slight increase in the blemishes because of a cleanse that’s not as thorough as I’m used to. There’s not an obvious increase in terms of skin tone either. I’ve probably got 80% left and I’m already looking around for a new cleanser, so my consensus on this product is… meh. I’d classify this as a very mild and gentle cleanser, suitable for those who don’t wear much makeup (or none) and don’t have oily skintypes. And now, on to my next cleanser!
