During times like these, I usually scale down fro a 100-step skincare regime to a simple purifying cleanser, a lightweight essence (Hada Labo Light Lotion) and a skin healing serum (Belif Peat Miracle Revital Serum Concentrate).

I’ve visited CNP Clinic several times in Korea to get my facials done (and I paid for them!), and I’ve always had good results, so it’s natural that I put my trust in their skincare range. Whenever I’m there, there’s a facial cleansing area where you can remove your makeup prior to your treatment, and I liked this cleanser so much that I just had to buy it. Hah.
- It comes in a simple no-frills plastic bottle with a pump.
- Now after unlocking the pump, it elevates pretty high up, which means that one pump can dispense quite a large amount of cleanser. (which I find to be perfect for a one-time face was).
- It’s a clear greenish tinted gel that has a nice mild scent that’s vaguely similar to that of Kodomo’s baby shower gel lol. Me likey. It makes me feel like I will have baby skin after cleansing.
- It froths up easily into a rather bubbly foam – the sort that if you exhale through your nose, it’ll form a nice big bubble. Very irrelevant, I know, but just fun to mention.
- It leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean and more hydrated – there’s absolutely no stripped-dry feeling of sorts.
- I like the cleanser, but on days when I pile on the face paint, I find that I have to use 2-3 pumps for a more thorough cleanse (cos this is a pretty lightweight cleanser).
- So far, I haven’t had any bad reactions to it, and because it helps to maintain the moisture levels of my skin, it’s helping my skin to heal.
- Note that for CNP’s range of skincare products, the green A-Clean line is supposedly targeted for acne-prone, problematic skin (while the Blue ones are for moisture). There’s a common misconception that products for acne-prone skintypes are harsher, but in fact, I find this gentler and more nourishing to my skin than some other “normal skintype” range of products.

Whether you’ve got sensitive skin, acne-prone skin, normal, combi or batshit skin like me, I’d say this will be a suitable cleanser for you.
