Rajasthan Royal Perfume Vaara is inspired by the Royal House of Marwar-Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India. The fragrance is named for the granddaughter of His Highness Maharaja Gaj Singh II in order to celebrate her birth and the family’s love for the city Jodhpur.
The store was filled with images of Jodhpur and transformed fragrance profiling room into a Rajasthani spice market with
drawings from Bertrand Duchaufour’s notebook and the raw ingredients of
Vaara.
Guests were invited to meet the perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour {has many scents on his name}as well as His Highness & his family. To complement the fine company, were served by traditional Rajasthani dishes and beverages canapes{decorative food eaten in one bite} provided by Hendrick’s Gin that highlighted the floral notes of Vaara.
Vaara recently launched in the UK in early July 2013. For the first time ever. Penhaligon's Perfume will be available in India, exclusively at the Umaid Bhawan Palace Collection Shop.
