Ponds Cold Cream Review

This is an old, tried and true prouct. My great-grandmothers used this cream and had flawless skin.  After hearing this, I figured I would try it out. After all, it is inexpensive and easy to find. I have been using it for about a week and a half. So far I am pleased with the results. My skin looks a little clearer and is more smooth. And it has not messed with my eczema, if anything it may have helped it a little.  I have read a lot of reviews and everyone uses this product a little differently. I apply the cream and let it sit for about 15 minutes to remove all makeup. Then I wipe it off with a tissue, and it seems to do a really good job at removing makeup. I usually will wash my face with a normal cleanser (Neutrogena Deep Cleansing Face Wash) just to make sure everything comes off and to further prevent breakouts. It will make your skin look/feel a little greasy if you do not get all of the cream off or use too much. But this has not been a huge issue for me since my skin has been more dry than oily. It does smell a little odd, but nothing extreme.  If you wear foundation, powder or tinted moisturizer on a daily basis, this may be a good investment for you. Also, you can use it to remove eye makeup. I have not used the cream for this as I prefer to use an actual eye makeup remover since my eyes are fairly sensitive. Also, one container will last a long time and a little goes a long way.
