It's natural that we all want to be successful.

This is especially true if you are investing both time and money into making your brilliant idea materialize into a thriving and profitable business.

Perseverance and determination equals success. Everyone who has a successful business knows it for truth.

Do you want to build a successful business like Steve Jobs or Warren Buffet?

Steve Jobs

It's time to share a little secret with you.

The good news is that you don't have to be born with deep pockets or have to be a genius to accomplish this goal.

You have the ability to be successful as a business owner or at whatever you do in life.

  Roger Bannister Quote on Perseverance

Now, let's take a deeper look into the word "perseverance."

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, perseverance is "continued effort and determination."

In other words perseverance is your effort to achieve something despite any obstacles or difficulties.

It sounds pretty simple to practice perseverance, right?

In reality, it can be challenging to consistently practice perseverance.Especially when it feels like you are taking more steps backwards than forwards!

All in all, perseverance is a state of mind. You have to continue to tell yourself, “I can do this. I will get there!"

Always keep in mind that if one method to attain your goal isn't working, you can always change it.

A Mind Once Opened Never Loses.

Be flexible and be open to try new things because there is no one right way.But there is exactly one wrong way to attain your goals.

Giving up is the wrong way!

More often than not, people give up right before they're about to have a big break-though.

The next time things get difficult for you, remind yourself that the best lessons are learned from failure.

Henry Ford Quote

We all fall down countless times before learning to walk, and then to run.

Besides, if we don't make mistakes, how would we know we're on the right path?

Not only is perseverance pertinent in being successful, but it is also necessary in honing any skill.

For example, check out the Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta also known as Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga pushed on through with perseverance.

To the world it may seem as though she was an overnight sensation, but in reality she worked her butt off to get to where she is today. She never took her eye off the prize of her definition of success.

It took a lot of hard work and living off of bread-crumbs for a while to get there, but when it got tough, she pushed on through with perseverance.

Over the years, I have heard "you can't do it" or "no, it's not possible" so many times in my life.

Perhaps it's because I prefer to take the path less traveled.

This isn't always easy but it's always been well worth the extra effort. Now, when someone tells me I can't do something, I get all excited!

They have unconsciously presented me with the challenge of proving them wrong. If you can relate with me when facing a challenge, then you are on the right track!

Here is an inspiring quote to live by every single day:

"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race." - Calvin Coolidge
