Perricone MD Glycolic Cleansing Bars

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
Like all Perricone products, this is expensive, but a great and effective product. I currently have a bad case of acne, and I have never experienced anything like it. I swicthed to this cleansing bar after trying Murad, Philosophy,Peter Thomas Roth, St. Ives and Neutrogena. None of which helped. After using this bar, I noticed a few new, but very small, pimples that quickly went away. The blemishes, or more like knots, on my forehead, have been slowly, but surely, drying up. This bar also has olive oil, which prevents it from being too drying, while the glycolic acid lifts away dead skin cells. I have also noticed that a few acne scars have gotten a little lighter in the week I have been using this. My eczema seems to be pretty well controlled at the moment, so this bar has not been an issue. However, if you have more severe eczema but want to try this, I would be a little more careful. Another note about this product: the bars are no longer sold individually, but rather as a trio. And each bar will last a long time, depending on how it is used. I use this at night. I wet my face with warm water and apply the bar directly to my face. Then I use my Clarisonic. I have also used this on my body a couple of times, and it even makes the skin on my arms and back feel very smooth. I would consider this product a keeper in my skincare arsenal.
