I have seen this variation of recipes a lot over the summer and just happened to come across it again while on Instagram. I frequently have frozen fruit in the freezer, especially bananas because some weeks they get too ripe and instead of throwing them out, I’ll take the peel off and throw them in a ziploc bag and you can freeze it for up to a few months. This version of “nice” cream can be made with any types of fruit. I’ve seen strawberry nice cream, blueberry ginger nice cream, cherry chip nice cream, etc…
This literally takes 3 minutes to make. I used my mini food chopper which works great for 1 or 2 servings.

- 1 bananafrozen
- 2tsp. peanut butter
- pinch cinnamon
- 1tbsp. semi sweet chocolate chunks
- Break frozen banana into smaller chunks and place in food processor. Pulse for 1 minute, then scrape down the sides. Pulse for another minute and scrape down the sides. After the last minute, it should look like the consistency of ice cream. Add 2 tsp. peanut butter and one tablespoon semi sweet chocolate chunks, pinch of cinnamon then pulse for 30 seconds to combine. Serve immediately, or freeze for later.
