I actually think cleansers are one of the more exciting products, albeit slightly underrated. It’s the one product where you can see and feel the instant difference, and doesn’t cost that much either. I know, cheapskate much, and cheap thrill at that too.
My last cleanser, the Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Foam was a pretty decent cleansing foam (aside from its vaguely unattractive packaging), so my new cleanser has slightly large and not-so-nice shoes to fill in.
Orbis Oil Cut Aquaforce Mild Wash

Now I usually talk a whole lotta bull and somewhat of a grandmother story with my reviews, but I’m gonna keep this short and sweet.
- It comes in a plastic tube packaging. Squeeze to dispense. ‘Nuff enough.
- The cleanser is a white pearly cream that foams up easily.
- It does clean properly – however, I’m not a fan of its squeaky-clean finish. Maybe it’s my age catching up, I’m not sure, but it makes my skin feel slightly tight and somewhat dry(ish) after cleansing. I prefer cleanser that don’t have such finishes, such as the IOPE Moisture Skin Cleansing Foam, Sulwhasoo Gentle Cleansing Foam and one of my favourites, the Cle De Peau Beaute Refreshing Cleansing Foam.
- I think I’m prolly gonna pass this on to my dad, a dude who prefers squeaky clean finishes (and thus does not have much regard for skincare regimes lol).
Now I’ve had pretty good experiences with Orbis’ products, having used the Orbis Clear Body Lotion Oil Cut to clear my bacne, the Orbis Aquaforce Moisture-M Oil Cut as a daily morning pre-makeup moisturiser, and the Orbis Aquaforce Lotion-M Oil Cut as my current toner. You can try those instead.
