I know this stuff has been around for a very long time, but I am just now getting around to trying it out. And I can see why it has been around for 100 years. It is inexpensive and works wonderfully. My skin has been extra dry for the last few weeks and this easily took care of the problem. It is very smooth and not too thick and silky. It doesn't make skin feel greasy, just nicely moisturized. And it doesn't take a lot. They make a little tin for $0.99 that I have seen at Ulta and Target. Even that little amont will last a long time. The large 6 oz tub is only $5 or $6 so it is really cheap. I have the large tub and two of the tins to carry around with me (and I actually apply it throughout the day; that never happens). Granted, this does not help any eczema but it doesn' irritate it any. Also, it will combat the dryness of an eczema patch for a couple of hours. But I am so stressed right now that I don't think anything will help my eczema. And the little tins will make great stocking stuffers. It does have a scent, but I am not sure how to describe it. It just smells good and is not overpowering or sweet. I definitley give this stuff a 10 =)
