Sreekumar, general secretary, All Kerala Houseboat Owners Association, saysfewer tourists from the Gulf countries are arriving now. “But the tourists who comealways enjoy a houseboat cruise in Vembanad Lake,” he says. They also wanted tovisit Munnar, Thekkady and other tourist places in Kerala.Most of these tourists arefrom Saudi Arabia and the UAE.The Kerala tourism industry here expects more visitors from the Gulf in the comingdays.
