I'm back! I just needed a little break from the internet, and life has been pretty busy. Over this time, I have been trying out Neutrogena's Pore Refining Cleanser to see if it would tame these annoying breakouts on my face.
This cleanser has alpha and beta hydroxy acids. So you get the best of both worlds: anti-aging and skin clearing. I have been able to tell a positive difference in my skin. It dries up acne, helps clear blackheads and my pores feel cleaner. The only downside is that it does dry my skin out a bit. And my skin is pretty darn greasy. But it is nothing a good moisturizer cannot remedy. It is a liquid cleanser and it lathers only slightly. The scent has a medicinal quality, but I don't find it unpleasant at all. And even though it dries out my skin a little, I experience no irritation.
I have only been using this cleanser for two weeks or so, so I will post a more complete review later.
