Natural Looking Makeup Tutorial If you’re one of those people who want to look prettier than normal, but you don’t want to over do it with the makeup, then you need natural-looking makeup. This is perfect for school, casual hanging out with friends, or for the office. In order to get natural-looking makeup, there are a few things you can do to enhance your face, but in a way that doesn’t look too artificial. Step 1: Foundation. Foundation makes your skin look better than it normally does, and there is a way to do this without looking like you’re wearing foundation. Use one that’s a lighter coverage, and make sure it matches your skin tone. An alternative to this is tinted moisturizer which provides slight coverage, and moisture at the same time. Step 2: Powder. The way to make this look more natural than normal is by using a translucent face powder instead of a colored one. This will provide less coverage and won’t tint your skin a different color, so it will look more natural. You always need to set your foundation, so use translucent powder when you want to look like your skin looks that good naturally. Step 3: Blush. The next step is blush. Use a light hand while applying this, and choose a color as close to the color your cheeks turn when you get naturally flushed. This will be the most natural-looking color on your face. Step 4: Eyebrows. Lightly fill in your eyebrows if they need it in a color that blends in with your eyebrows without making them look too dark or too light. Skip this step if your eyebrows aren’t in need of any filling in. Step 5: Lip Balm. To moisturize and add a natural tint of color all at the same time, you can use a tinted lip balm to do this. It will make your lips softer and add a hint of color without looking artificial. Step 6: Eye shadow. Use one color of a shimmery champagne color to cover just your lids. If you want, use a matte brown eye shadow to do a bit of shading in the crease to exaggerate the natural depth of your eyes. Step 7: Eyeliner. Use dark brown eyeliner to do the slightest bit of defining of your eyes. Only smudge a very small amount on the upper and lower lash lines. Skip liquid eyeliner. Step 1: Mascara. Use whatever mascara you want. They won’t ever make your eyelashes too dramatic, trust me. Just don’t wear false lashes. And now you’re done! You look like a naturally gorgeous goddess, so let’s keep all the subtle makeup you’re wearing our little secret :p Posted by admin at March 8, 2013 « How to Get Soft Lips Basic Smokey Eye Tutorial »
