The Chalets, which was established in 2002, is in itself a different experience.Sud, a perfect host, said, "We imported the pinewood from Oulu town in Finland and constructed this resort. Not a single tree was cut from this place for the construction of this cottage. Every cottage and apartment of Chalets provides an astounding view. All the cottages are featured with their own balconies and private gardens and a working fireplace."
This fascinating resort offers and nature walks into the forests, horse-riding, golf, a solar-heated indoor swimming pool. In addition to these, the resort offers leisure activities like table tennis, badminton, golf putting and several other indoor games. The golf course of Naldhera, managed by Himachal Tourism, offers an amusing experience in a bright sunny day or even in a gloomy day.
Pratap Singh Verma, the care taker of the golf course, told, "We get golfers from across the country as well as abroad. This golf course provides entirely different experience from other golf courses.” Transportation and AccommodationNaldhera is located at a distance of around 430 km from New Delhi, around 165 km from Chandigarh and around 22 km from Shimla. It takes only a one hour drive from Shimla to Naldhera.
The Chalets resort is situated in Durgapur village, at a distance of around 300 metres from the golf course. The rates of the resort range from about Rs 8,000 for a room to Rs 36,000 for cottage involving 4 bedrooms, per night. Over here, meals for two will cost you around Rs 1,500.
