Mustard Crusted Salmon

This lovely recipe is fit for seafood lovers. If you are thinking of making salmon this valentines day and you haven`t come up with a recipe try this mustard crusted salmon recipe and impress yourself and your loved ones. This mustard crusted salmon recipe is simple and easy to make, if you are a first timer in kitchen there is nothing to worry about just have a good time keeping while you are cooking and you`ll be more than satisfied with your results. Having salmon, is lovely and romantic dish for valentines day, this mustard crusted salmon recipe  will leave and ever lasting impression and is a dish that can also be enjoyed on its own as well as with any meal (e.g. your healthy lunch meal), goes well with any type of salad.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/4 pounds center-cut salmon fillets, cut into 4 portions
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons coarse-grained mustard
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 4 lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Line a metal pan with foil, then lightly oil or coat it with nonstick spray.
  3. Place salmon pieces, skin-side down, in prepared pan.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. In a small bowl, combine sour cream, mustard and lemon juice.
  6. Spread evenly over salmon.
  7. Broil salmon, 5 inches from heat source, for 10 to 12 minutes, or until opaque in the center.
  8. Serve with lemon wedges.
