So following on from my post about a week ago about the 3 Body Shop products I cannot live without, I thought I’d share some more of my fave beauty items. This time, those must-haves from Max Factor. I always consider Max Factor to be among the highest quality of the ‘High Street’ make-up brands. In particular, I really like their face products (i.e. foundations, concealers etc) which rival many much more high-end alternatives. Among the wide range, two items stand out especially – so I thought I’d tell you about them.
1) The PanStik
Described as a ‘Fast Fix Foundation’, I use this to conceal dark circles and to conceal blemishes, and spots. It covers pretty much anything! I also mix it with YSL Touche Eclat and dab it on under my eyes for added radiance. It’s the only product I’m aware of on the market that is so good at multi-tasking. Plus, my friend who is a beauty product fiend and always knows about all the best beauty things swears by it.
2) The Creme Puff in Translucent
I am not really a powder make-up person – I tend to always opt for liquid or mousse alternatives. But this gem is the exception that proves the rule. It’s a translucent powder compact that I apply over the top of my foundation to prevent shine and create a matte finish. It’s brilliant as it doesn’t add or take-away any colour, making it suitable for a whole spectrum of skin tones.
Both these products are also incredibly reasonable – £6.99 and £5.99 respectively. You can’t say fairer than that.
