At this point in our history, it's difficult to find something new and original when it comes to ideas and content on the internet. Let's face it, "reinventing the wheel" is no longer an expectation for blogging.

So, what makes this trending writing style so unique and intriguing?

It's all about finding a distinct voice that can put a fresh perspective and outlook on content.

Harnessing your blogging voice may seem like a giant feat; however, it's more about letting go than following constraints and rules. Your goal to blogging self-discovery will focus on channeling your creative and critical thinking skills.

Becoming a unique voice will not happening overnight.

It will take time and practice, but as the saying goes, "the juice is worth the squeeze." Read on for five starter tips to help you foster your blogging voice.

1. Always Enact Authenticity While Writing Your Blog Content.

Be Authentic When Finding Your Blogging Voice.

Even when writing professional blogs, begin by pretending that your content will not be published. Write as if you are the only one that will read the content; there should be no limits on what you say.

Save the editing and professionalism for after you let your creative juices flow. This way, you can showcase your personality and demonstrate to your audience that you are real.

Unleash your inner-self and you'll be amazed with your results.

Sharing with your readers that you are human, ultimately separates you from an automated machine; you will be easy to relate to and this will promote engagement and reader loyalty.

Also, don't be afraid to be vulnerable when you write.

Others will see how your voice is truly authentic and not fabricated. A strong SEO company will help you find a healthy balance of freedom in writing and professionalism.

2. Execute Consistency to Improve Your Blogging Habits.

Always be consistent!

Whether you write your posts daily, weekly or monthly, keep it consistent.

Make your writing a habit and your readers will become accustomed to your voice. They will know what to expect and if they enjoy your writing, they will invite others to seek out your blogs.

Through practicing your writing and understand that blogging will never be a perfect art, you will fine-tune your writing skills and solidify your voice.

3. Encourage Feedback to Enhance Your Blog Content.

Don't let pride get in the way of your blogging.

Ask for help while you're trying to discover your voice. You'll be surprised how often others are willing to provide feedback and advice to making yourself a stronger blogger.

Even when the comments get critical, use it to fuel your knowledge and drive for writing.

If others tear apart your voice and the process begins to become pain-staking, don't give up. Allow all constructive or critical feedback to make you better.

4. Enable and Experience Your Creative Freedom.

Your Freedom to Blog!

Separate the two main steps to blogging: the creative freedom versus logistics and reasoning.

Begin with writing freely and simply putting all of your ideas on "paper," without worrying about the conventions.

This practice will help you fully manifest your voice sans all the technical snags. Plus, you don't want to miss out on sharing an idea if you continuously stop your thought process to self-edit.

Next, try to read your writing aloud to hear where natural breaks should occur, and get a sense for the general flow of your blog.

At this stage, the material will be raw and you will hear the phrasing that comes from your natural voice that makes it unique. From here, you can start worrying about all the writing conventions and making the voice fit professionally.

5. Expand Your Mind.

Blogging Can Expand Your Mind

Become a connoisseur of all texts and learn to read extensively. Try new materials that you wouldn't typically read, and educate yourself by practicing life-long learning.

You'll gain knowledge about different types of texts and various styles of writing. This can help you establish your unique voice and maybe inspire you to write.

Also, this practice will give you a sense for what others are passionate about. Coming back to the idea that you don't have to "reinvent the wheel," you can borrow ideas from other bloggers.

However, don't forget that the key to professional and original blogging is to put a new spin on the content. Make it your own.

All of the above tips are starting points to developing your own voice in blogging. Remember to be professional, yet relatable. At the end of the day, reflect your true self and your passions. After all, the only person that can hold you back is yourself.
