I don't know why, but I am really into forest and olive green eyeshadows right now. This looks is a spin off of my Forest Inspired Makeup look I posted last weekend. This one is a little (okay, a lot more) glam and it reminded me of a forest sprite.
For this look, I started with my eyebrows. I filled them in using Milani's Stay Put Brow Color in Medium Brown. To keep them in place and add more color, I used Benefit's Give Me Brow in Shade 3. And to shape them up a bit, I applied Tarte's Shape Tape Concealer in Fair.
As my eyeshadow base, I used my beloved M.A.C Paint Pot in Painterly. For my eyeshadows, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario. I started by applying Bronx all over the lid and blended into the crease. In the center of the lid, I used M.A.C's Loose Pigment in English Gilt, which is from their Nutcracker Sweet Collection. In the crease, I lightly blended just a little bit of Isabel. I also applied Isabel along the lower lash line mixed with Bronx. To highlight the inner corners, I used 5th Avenue topped with M.A.C's Loose Glitter in Gold. For my eyeliner, I used NYX's Liquid Suede Lipstick in Liberal.
To prime my skin, I used Catrice's Prime and Fine Smoothing Refiner. The foundation I used is L'Oreal's Pro Glo and I used Tarte's Shape Tape Concealer under my eyes and the center of my forehead. To contour, I used the Shade color to contour with. To set all of the cream products, I used the Vanilla Rose Setting Powder by Besame Cosmetics. To add the effect of a golden glow, I mixed Lit and Stunner from Tarte's Pro Glow Palette.
I wanted to go with a nude lip to go with the earthy colors on my eyes, so I opted for a nude lip. I used Tattoo Junkee's Lip Paint in the shade Skinny Dip.
I'm trying to be a little more creative with colors and techniques, so be on the lookout for that. I was really happy with how this one turned out.
I hope you are having a great weekend!
