M.A.C isn't usually a brand that I get excited about, but their Nutcracker Sweet collection is just too cute to pass up. I didn't get a ton of stuff from the collection, but I still wanted to share my little haul with you guys. I also picked up a few other things outside of the collection.
The number one thing I wanted was the Sweet Peach Face Compact. I was going to get the copper one since it has Whisper of Guilt. However I felt the the Sweet Peach would be a lot more flattering on me. And I was right. I used this today and loved it. The blush isn't too intense, which I love, and the highlighter is gorgeous! The blush shade is called At Dusk and the highlighting shade is called Tutu.
The next thing that really caught my eye was the Gold Pigment and Glitter Mini Set. I haven't tried a M.A.C pigment in many, many years. This set caught my eye because it has the warmer neutrals that I love, but there is also a pop of purple in it. The packaging is also adorable and it would be a cute little collector's piece. The four shades in this kit are English Gilt, gold glitter, Glitter Reflects in Rust, and Heritage Rouge.
I also ended up getting the Red Lip Gloss Kit. The darkest shade really spoke to me, but I mainly got this for my mom because she loves glosses. There are four shades in this kit, ranging from a clear shimmer to a deep, glittery red. The shades in this set are Phiff, Galaxy Rose, Gumdrop, and Courting Chic.
The last two things I got from the collection were the Eye Kohl's in Feline and Prunella. These two shades are part of their permanent line, but they are also available in this limited edition packaging.
I also picked up the shade Teddy for my mom, too.
I just had to get one of the new Spellbinder eyeshadows. I got the shade Dynamically Charged and it is gorgeous! I also got the #283 duo fiber brush, which applies the shadow beautifully.
So far I am really liking everything, especially the face compact and the Spellbinder shadow. I will try everything out a little more and get back with you on my full reviews.
Happy Halloween!
