If you're new around here you might not know that I'm a certified personal trainer. I'm really passionate about working out and maintaining an overall healthy lifestyle.
I'd say that the strongest part of my body is my legs. I work them out 3 times a week and take a lot of pride in keeping them in shape. I'm short, so I try my best to keep my legs as toned and lean as I can so that they have the effect of looking longer than they really are.
The following routine is really good for toning but to keep your legs lean eating clean and doing cardio is really important.
I do this routine holding dumbbells...between 5-10 pounds in each hand. But that's totally optional. Oh and for the box jumps...I don't have a box, so I use the stairs outside of my apartment. Be creative!
Don't forget to stay hydrated during your workout and to do a warm up/cool down! And a little tip: to maximize your efforts, try putting your weight in the back of your heels to really target your gluteus, too!
Happy sweating, ladies :)
