Lemon Couscous Chicken

Chicken lovers must try this lovely and divine recipe. If you are thinking of making couscous this valentines day and you haven`t come up with a recipe try this lemon couscous recipe and impress yourself and your loved ones. This lemon couscous chicken recipe is simple and easy to make. Both first timer’s and pros can have a go at this recipe and you`ll be pleased with yourself. Having couscous is quite different than the traditional meals on valentines day but a change is always good. You can trust me on this when I say this lemon couscous chicken recipe  will leave and ever lasting impression and is a dish that can also be enjoyed on its own as well as with any meal (e.g. your healthy lunch meal), goes well with any type of salad, I love it with wine.


  • 1¼ cup water
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 pkg Near East Roasted Garlic & Olive Oil Couscous mix
  • 1½ cup chopped cooked chicken
  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 3 Tbsp)
  • ¼ tsp lemon peel
  1. In a large skillet, bring the water, oil, broccoli, and contents of the spice sack from the couscous mix to a boil.
  2. Stir in the couscous, chicken, lemon juice, and lemon peel.
  3. Remove from the heat.
  4. Cover, and let stand for 5 minutes.
  5. Fluff lightly with a fork.
  6. Chill and serve cold.
