Oh how I love this palette. It has beautiful neutrals, but a hint of blue if you want to add a pop of a color. The shades are so incredibly smooth and soft while being nicely pigmented. They are like a dream to work with. All of the colors coordinate so well together. I have tried two looks with this palette: one dramatic and one neutral(which will be posted later today). Both came out great. The shadows last a long time with minimal fading (I am sad to say there was some), but not all day. And there is no creasing. I love how Lancôme organized the palette with the all over base on top, the lid shade on the far left, crease in the middle, highlight on the right and liner on the bottom. There is not the same amount of product in all of the pans. The lid shade has the most while the liner shade has the least. All of the shades are shimmery, so if you prefer mattes, this is not the palette for you. In fact, you would probably hate all of the eye shadows I like, lol.
Shade breakdown:
1. The all over base is a very light peach.
2. The lid shade is a shimmery sky blue.
3. The crease shade is a shimmery taupe..stunning taupe, actually.
4. The highlight is a shimmery golden peach.
5. The liner is a vibrant dark blue. It, along with the base, has the least amount of shimmer. Almost none.
I am very pleased with how the pictures came out because they are very true to what the palette looks like. I would give this palette a 4.5 out of 5. It is a bit pricey at $49 and it doesn't last quite all day but it is still a wonderful palette with great shades.
