L'Oreal "The Temptress' Gaze" Shadow Quad

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
I was incredibly excited to finally find the Project Runway Electric Fanatasie collection.  All in all, it is a good collection.  But I would not say that I am in love with the eyeshadows I have tried.  Not bad, but not that great either.
Sorry for the crappy picture quality.  I am saving up for a new camera (any thoughts on a good one?)
Shades
"The Temptress' Gaze" has 4 eyeshadows:
  1.) a shimmery emerald green
  2.) a shimmery light copper
  3.) matte dark brown
  4.) shimmery bronze

Pigment and Texture
The pigment is pretty good overall.  When swatched, the emerald green leaves a lot to be desired.  However, I was shocked by how well it showed up when it was patted on the eye lid.  It was very vibrant when applied that way.  The other shades have nice pigment either way.  The matte brown is not powdery or chalky, and it makes a nice liner.  The texture is a little blah to me.  It is not gritty, and is fairly smooth.  But it can be a bit of a pain to blend.
Staying Power and Price
You will absolutley need a primer with this stuff. When I first tried this quad, it did not crease.  It did fade, but it was actually pretty minimal.  The second time I wore it, the staying power was horrible.  I used the same primer both times.  It creased and faded badly.  The price ranges from $8 to $10 depending on where you get it.  In all honesty, I do not think it is worth that price.
Packaging
Nothing fancy here, just a bunch of clear and black plastic in the shape of a square.  But it is sturdy.

Overall Impression
This palette is just okay.  Staying power is a huge factor to me, and it really missed that mark.  I would say to skip this product if you are the same, or ever have problems getting shadow to stay on to begin with.
