Hey guys I’m back with another K-Drama Fashion featuring the k-style tips and trends from the hit TVN drama “Oh Hae Young Again”
What’s the story?
It’s about two Oh Hae Youngs…
The pretty Oh Hae Young
and “ordinary/just” Oh Hae Young.
The pretty Oh Hae Young ditch her boyfriend (Eric) at the day of her wedding and completely disappeared. So this boyfriend overheard his friend from work that his friend Oh Hae Young will marry soon with a rich guy. Thinking that this Oh Hae Young is his Oh Hae Young, he ruined the girl’s wedding and send the rich guy in prison. He later found out that there are Two ‘Oh Hae Youngs’ tsk tsk.. what a common name. .
The “Oh Hae Youngs” Fashion
Despite of having the same name, it is pretty obvious that the two Oh Hae Young are very different, even when it comes to style. Here’s why:
The pretty Oh Hae Young that everyone loves is expected to dress fashionably and loves to wear the prettiest clothes that will express her perfect self.
In short, she loves florals, feminine pieces in pink and peach color.
She’s obviously into fashion and knows what clothes suits her.
Here’s how to copy her look:
Now, for our beloved heroine, the “just” Oh Hae Young.
She’s the queen of office style…
The queen of slacks, the mini heels and her everyday top…something to look forward to when she comes to work.
Always love blue and simple accessories.
Here’s how to copy her look:
Style Trends that can be found in the Drama:
1.The Statement Sleeves
One way to add style to your office wardrobe is by trying out the latest trend in the sleeves department.
The ‘Billow Sleeves‘ are the most common sleeves that can be found on any K-drama. even in Park Shin Hye’s drama Doctors.
Here is Eric’s Mom wearing a Billow Sleeves Top in Red.
So chic and evil!!!! (like her)
and the “Pretty” Oh Hae Young in her floral sleeves in a white A-line skirt.
The most active wearer with the statement sleeves is our beloved heroine in the story…
Oh Hae Young…
Here’s how to style:
2. Neck Scarfs
Adding a scarf to your outfits is a very easy way to accessorize and look effortlessly chic.
Not like this please… (Sorry “just” Oh Hae Young)
but this…
or as neckerchiefs…
3. The sparkly slingback sandals
The “hugot” pumps para sa mga bigo sa pag ibig…
(instead of my painful heart…) -insert quote :p4. 90s Style
Chokers are massive this year including 90s slip dresses.
Pair your favorite white shirt with a slip dress or a lingerie inspired shirt.
Or add some grunge with your boho loose top with a choker and fringe leather skirt.
Recreate the 90s trend by combining it with modern trends and make it as your own look. Don’t just copy the trends but always….
ALWAYS experiment.
Here’s how to style:
5. Pantone Colors
Still trending…
That’s it for our K-Drama Fashion!
