After almost 50 years, Kérastase has unveiled a collection of eight styling products with reinvented textures that they believe is going to switch up the hairstyling world.
The line, Couture Styling, has been in development for more than two years and as of June, has as already begun to be introduced into salons . The additional products will be unveiled in July, while Short Mania and Gloss Appeal are set to launch in October.
Salons around the country are excited to carry the line and have been hosting events to celebrate the launch. Rush Guildford, owner of Rush Salons and Winner of Best London Salon 2013 at the Hair Awards, recently launched the Couture Styling line in his salons. Each of the Rush Baker Street stylists chose their favorite product from the line and showcased exactly how to create styles using the products at their event.
Kérastase has started introducing it’s first consumer ads, starring the iconic Kate Moss. “She is kind of a chameleon woman in that she [can sport] casual, cool beachy waves or a sophisticated full-on blowout,” said Bouzitat, the VP of Marketing for the company. Moss is no stranger to the beauty world, having designed her own line of lipsticks for Rimmel as well as releasing 4 of her own fragrances, however, this is her first time modeling for a hairstyling campaign.
