Just a quick post today. To be honest, I always thought my blog was half mum/personal/family stuff and half beauty. I was just browsing through my posts yesterday and was really surprised to realize that I haven't really been consistent in posting beauty posts in the last couple of weeks. Not intended at all. I think I'm a bit fussy like that. I have heaps of things I want to say and talk about regarding beauty/make up but then they just lie in my draft folder for ages because I keep tweaking them or keep feeling they are not good enough or want to improve the photos etc.
Anyhow, just thought I would post a make up look that I really like and sport very often. Might be a bit too dark for some people (i.e. my husband)'s liking but I really like the dark eye, nude lip look. Especially on my tan skin (which I have only come to embrace in the last few years).
I have tried the CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara for a few days now (bought at introductory price of $8 at Woollys). I bought the shade brown and I kind of regret it. I plan to have a review of it up soon. As you can see from the pictures below, unfortunately, they do nothing much for my lashes (though it does live up to its no-clumps claim). Also, I tried the Lacura Beauty Lip Stick which costs a very meagre $4.49 from Aldi. I have passed this range so many times on my grocery shop but just never thought I would be interested... until I started swatching away the other day. I bought Coral which is such a beautiful nude peachy shade.
Pardon ze hair, ladies! I (still) don't know what to do with it.
