InstaLately

By Crushland @crushland

Hello. I just realized that I haven’t posted a single photo of chocolate or cake in over two weeks. Who am I? There is really very little time to be snap-happy this month due to Ramadan (which is passing by way too quickly) and also fitting in the Freshly Blogged challenge on a weekend.

Also, I haven’t posted one of these Instagram updates in a long time, so let me kill two birds with one stone. Here are some pics.

Cakes still rule my life, covered with sheets of molten dark chocolate ganache.

M discovered a new photo app. I went to the shop to get toothpaste and got side tracked, forgetting the toothpaste.

I did some turning out and found U’s little baby shoes and bib! Something I can’t throw out.

Baby Amira’s newborn little chicken legs! Rai’s fresh little treasure and so beautiful. Our grandmother knitted this outfit and blanket for the name-giving ceremony, so special.

Swings and french toast.

This naughty face. Everybody just wants to feed him. Left: Busted! Right: Much obliged, his Papa was fasting and of course had to buy him a frozen yoghurt with everything in it.

The list that whips me into a frenzy every Friday afternoon until some kind of idea is formulated, and then it changes again. At least thrice.

Something old and something new! So excited! How lovely is my teak door? With original stained glass and brass finishes, it even says letters/telegram on the slot. Its much larger than it appears here and I can’t wait for it to be installed. And I won’t get to the box just yet
:)

Oh no I made too much ganache on purpose. I love me when I do things like that. So considerate!

Another night of cake, this time with chocolate frosting.

I craved my best comfort food, chocolate bananas, whole day but the chocolate turned grainy instead of melting gently. I also love those frozen chocolate coated bananas on a stick at the Biscuit Mill, but when it starts to defrost it turns into the worst texture known to man.

This is the photogenic part of the mess that was Week 5′s challenge. IT’S A DESSERT! That’s all I’m saying : )
