My wonderful boyfriend babysat my dog while we went out. I had so much fun at the show. We all did. We saw the BeeGees back in 1997 and it was one of the most memorable nights of our lives. The BeeGees to my mom is Michael Jackson to me. She has such an emotional connection to them. At the beginning of the show tonight I looked over at her and she was crying. And then later in the evening she was dancing and laughing hysterically. She gets to go see Barry Gibb next month at the Hollywood Bowl and I am so excited for her!
Now onto my Whole 30 day 15. I can’t believe it’s been 15 days. I’m halfway through. My goodness. I didn’t really have a nutritious day today, I’ll be honest. I had so much to do and my day was jam packed. I ate as best as I could. And I didn’t cheat at all. Still going strong.
I opened my eyes at 5:50 this morning. I looked at my phone, saw the time and went back to sleep until 6:30. For breakfast I had a cup of coffee with homemade creamer. I wasn't too hungry but when I got to work I ate some clementines at my desk.
On my break I ate pistachios. Saturdays are always weird because we only work until 1:30 so we don’t get a lunch break. When I got off of work I started to get a little hungry so I ate a LaraBar.
Then I cleaned, did laundry and got ready for the concert. I didn’t have time to cook anything for dinner. When my parents got to my apartment my dad said we’d grab something before the show. I grabbed a LaraBar and put it in my clutch because I assumed I wouldn’t find anything Whole 30 approved at a casino.
When we got there my dad ordered some Mexican food, my mom ate a protein bar that I brought for her and I ate my LaraBar. I wasn’t even hungry but I knew if I didn’t eat something I would be during the show.
Now it’s 11:30pm and I’m eating an apple and almond butter. I didn’t eat my apple for the day and I have to get it in before midnight.
So there you have it. I’m hoping I will be able to eat some real food tomorrow.
15 days complete! 15 days to go! Goodnight from me and this cute lil’ guy!
