Happy 2013

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

I happened to read the year in review that Facebook and put on my page, 2012 was full of so much change. Scott and I had a great year but it was full of change and sometimes change can be stressful!

2012 in Review

I got laid off and found a new job in 3 weeks. Have been LOVING that job. Sometimes negative things happen and you don’t realize just how much better things will be in the long run. The previous company I worked for had some serious turnover issues, I dealt with a sexist pig and really wasn’t all that appreciated. Fast forward almost a year and I work for an incredible company, with really motivated hard working people and truly love what I do.

Dealt with a few health issues and had some minor surgery to fix things, everything looks good now and I am hoping it stays that way!

We sold Scott’s house and moved into a great rental place while we have been looking for our house.

Got married! I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Small, perfectly us and filled with our friends, family, good food and wine.

Went on a truly amazing trip to Thailand. Wanderlust was satisfied for a bit but we are eager for our next adventure.

Made great memories with friends/family trying new things and just getting out there and seeing what the Twin Cities has to offer.

There was our fair share of struggles and I am trying hard to focus on the positive for 2013. Things are really unplanned right now! The crazy Type A person that I am is having a hard time with that. I have good days and bad but we will figure it out.

Our goal for 2013 is to just go with the flow. We really can’t plan right now but we can choose to stay positive.

Happy 2013

What 2013 will bring? I truly don’t know! What we had planned is out the window but something will take its place and it will probably end up being even better.

A few things we do hope will happen:

We find a house! I just don’t know where yet. I may have Scott convinced to go the cute house in the city route…

That we enjoy lots of delicious food and wine.

We go try some new activities, maybe snowshoeing, a league of some sorts, just things to keep ourselves busy and focus on going with the flow.

Plan at least one trip, we have a few ideas mulling around and Scott will probably head west snowmobiling but we know we want at least one new country.

I hope your 2013 is exactly what you wish for!!
