Gold Peak Tea

I have long been an iced and hot tea drinker. Drinking just plain water day in and day out can get a bit boring so I turn to tea. During the summer I especially love iced tea. Big glass with ice cubes, fresh lemon slices and unsweetened iced tea. Gold Peak tea is one of my favorites and I usually have a container in the fridge or if I am on the go I will grab a bottle.

With this promotion they asked us to enjoy Gold Peak Tea while dining out at a chosen partner. I headed to Outback Steakhouse for lunch one day after I was working at our booth at the fair. I needed a chance to cool down and relax. A huge glass of pomegranate iced tea and the lunch combo was perfect. A little french onion soup and half a sandwich. After 3 glasses. Yes 3 glasses, I was that dehydrated even though I had been drinking water all day, I finally felt cool enough.

I really appreciate restaurants that have a great iced tea like Gold Peak. The pomegranate was a nice touch too. Since I normally an unsweetened tea drinker that hint of sweetness was nice. It has also been YEARS, at least 10, since I had been to an Outback. They had extensively remodeled and had so many more choices on their menu than I remembered.
