Summary:
This month, Glossybox has sent out a Festive Treasures box which, on the surface, would seem like it includes lots of party favourites. Have a look inside to see what I received, and why I’m not particularly thrilled.
Nothing quite says ‘Christmas’ like a razor and a bar of soap! Oh wait… Perhaps not.
My problem with this box is it’s full of things I won’t use. I may use the Wilkinson Sword razor, but I wouldn’t expect something so unluxurious to be inside an innovative beauty box, and the same goes for the soap. As for the Green & Black chocolate, 70% chocolate is hardly a treat, which is why mine is half-chewed and in the bin.
I won’t be using the Beautiful Movements Cosmetics lip gloss or the Maybelline New York Brow Drama sculpting mascara as I don’t and won’t use those kind of products (I just don’t see the point), and the Seche nail lacquer is quite a garish neon red which doesn’t match anything I have. As such this box has been a huge disappointment for me, and one of the worst ones I’ve received this year. It’s only £10 + £2.95 P+P, but still hoping for better things next month.
