Last Saturday night we had our first girls night in a long time. This was way overdue and it was so great to get a group of 7 of my favorite ladies together. I did a bit of prep in the afternoon, got glasses out, made a few dips, did my shopping, prepped our cocktail and enjoyed relaxing before everyone arrived.
Around 5:30 the trickle of guests started, we did introductions for those who didn’t know each other, had a few snacks and just caught up with one another. As usual with most parties we ended up in our dining room and kitchen area, perfect for me! I was cooking the Mrs. T’s pirogues for us to enjoy before we headed out for drinks.

The pirogues were quickly inhaled! They were great with tzatziki and a homemade chip dip and made a great quick appetizer with the meat, veggies and chips. After our wine and snacks we headed downtown Stillwater for a quick trip to Pub 112 and Domacin Wine Bar. We were back to my place by 10ish and the few who stayed for the night (it was snowing heavily by this time) opened up a bottle of red, sat by the fire and chatted. It was the perfect girls night.
I am so thankful to have so many amazing girlfriends in my life (new and old) and I can’t wait to do this again. Let’s hope it doesn’t take a year plus to get most of us together next time. Thanks to Mrs. T’s for sponsoring the first part of our girls night.
