  GET ME BODIED | Oooh Baby, I Think I Like it Raw!       It's the beginning of a fresh week and I'm hoping everyone is feeling as refreshed as I am! I am feeling especially energized, in a great mood and overall happy to be alive today. If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen me tweeting about my recent experiences with the Raw Food diet. I've been eating raw foods for the last two weeks and although it was a bit rough in the beginning, I am really starting to take notice of the changes I not only feel, but can also see.   This has been a fantastic, enlightening and unique journey to say the least. I'm no stranger to raw foods, as I had always wanted to one day be able to adopt a raw food lifestyle and as a child, my mother was really into raw foods, healing herbs, etc. but I always thought that adopting a raw food lifestyle would be extremely time consuming and wouldn't fit into my busy lifestyle. Boy, was I wrong!   GET ME BODIED | Oooh Baby, I Think I Like it Raw!     What exactly is a Raw Food Diet you may ask?  A plant-based, raw vegan foods diet that has not been heated over 104 to 118 degrees Fahrenheit (or approximately 46 degrees Celsius). This diet adopts the belief that foods that are in their raw state are most beneficial for the body because the nutrients and enzymes have not been processed or cooked away. Raw foods have an enormously higher nutritional content than cooked foods.
