Fourteen Weeks

Fourteen Weeks

{I had this all ready to post on Wednesday, the 23rd, and I completely forgot to actually click post. I blame it all on pregnancy brain.}
How far along? Fourteen weeks and six days. Baby's size? Baby is the size of a Troll doll. Probably my favorite comparison yet.

Baby's nickname? Baby

Maternity clothes? Not yet. Still wearing my pre-pregnancy jeans. They're getting pretty snug though. Photo below. Exercise? Oh my gosh. None this week.

Sleep: I'm staying up later than usual. Getting a little less than eight hours a night. I love having energy again.

Best moment this week: Seeing our baby on a huge screen. Watching him or her kick and jump and move and suck their thumb. It was all so amazing!

Miss anything? On Saturday night I was really wanting a margarita. I squeeze lime into sparkling water and I added a little salt. It definitely helped with the craving but the effect was no where near the same.

Movement: I've felt some movement and I think it's the baby. If I put my hand on the lower part of my stomach, it feels the same as when you put your hand to someone's chest to feel their heart beat.
Food cravings: This week I wanted a soft pretzel with cheese. I didn't want to go to the mall just for a pretzel. I ended up finding a box of mini cheese pretzels at the grocery store in the freezer section and they were fabulous!

Anything making you queasy or sick: It's amazing how much I still gag, especially in the early morning before I've eaten. Any strong smell or a certain food {and of course, I can't think of the food right now because I have pregnancy brain} will do that to me.
Gender: We find out tomorrow! I've been feeling like it's a boy my entire pregnancy but after we did our ultrasound on Saturday, for some reason I've felt like it's a girl this whole week. We'll see!
Symptoms: Every few days I'll get a small headache but nowhere near as bad as they used to be. And this doesn't happen when I eat at home but when we go out to eat, I get the worst stomach pains after. On Saturday, after our ultrasound we went to breakfast with my parents. I had pancakes and sausage. And even before I started eating I felt really gross. As I ate, it got worse. I had to go home and lay down. The pain was too uncomfortable. Tonight we went to dinner and I had a turkey sandwich. Nothing crazy. About an hour later I felt super bloated and I had sharp pains going through my stomach. It's not fun. Maybe I shouldn't eat out anymore...Oh yeah, and major pregnancy brain!Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: I think I've been pretty happy

Looking forward to: Finding out if our baby is a little boy or a little girl!
