I actually did this look yesterday. Even though it was "toned down", I got plenty of interesting looks. Granted, they were from the snobby employees at the Lancome cosmetic counter in Nordstrom, so I didn't take them seriously(mostly because one was wearing neon pink lipstick with a horribly blended smoky eye) and the other did not know how to spell the lipcolor "Socialite." And I can't get a job? Anyhow, I digress. I posted a more intense look here. It looked amazing, but I wouldn't wear it as an everyday look. So I created this simple, easy and vibrant look. And it is monochromatic: orange shadow, liner and lipstick.
Products used:
Face: Hourglass Mineral Veil and Clinique Acne Solutions Makeup
Sephora+Pantone Universe Blush Duo, I used Desert Rose which is a matte coral.
Eyes:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Sephora+Pantone Universe Eyeshadow Quad in Scallop Shell(nude, all over) and Carnelian(orange, lightly applied on the lid).
Sephora+Pantone Universe Eyeliner in Tangerine Tango Twist(applied just above top lashline)
Clinique High Lengths Mascara in black brown and Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara in black brown.
Lips: Sephora+Pantone Universe Lip Gloss in Tangerine Tango Luminous.
I really loved this look. It is a nice change from my usual pinks, purples and neutrals. The orange and corals really warms up my skin tone. And all of the products are fanatastic. They stayed on really well. I applied the lipgloss maybe once or twice in an 8 hour span.
