Hair & Beauty Magazine
Today was a laid back day, which consisted of tagging along with my best friend to pick out a bookcase and eating at one of the best Italian places in Atlanta, Figo. I did not have much time to get ready, so I went with one of my go to looks. It is very simple, takes only a few minutes and makes my eyes stand out. I also love this look because it is slightly different from an everyday look using neutrals. I used a pale pink and a neat brown that also has a bit of pink, which you can see in the pics since my camera more or less cooperated with me today =)
Products used:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
The Body Shop Baked Shadow in Quartz (review and swatches here)
The Body Shop Carbon Brown Eye Definer (review and swatches here)
Clinique High Lengths Mascara and Bottom Lash Mascara, both in Black Brown
The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Boost (review here)
Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream (review here)
The Body Shop Baked to Last Blush in Petal (review and swatches here)
The Body Shop Satsuma Shimmer Born Lippy lip balm
First, I apply my eye primer (Too Faced's Shadow Insurance is the best!). While that set, I applied the skin boost, which I use as a primer. Then I applied the light pink from the shadow duo as an all over base. To make my eyes more defined, I used the darker shade in the crease and blended it halfway across. Then I applied the eye definer along the lower lash line and applied the darker shade from the shadow duo over it. I finished the eyes by applying my Clinique power duo of mascaras; High Lengths mascara and Bottom Lash Mascara. I just wanted light weight coverage on my face and SPF, so I opted for my BB cream instead of foundation. To add a bit of color to my cheeks, I used the Baked to Last Blush. I kept the lips simple by using a glossy lip balm with a bit of shimmer.
