I am all about the darker, edgier looks that signify fall. However I know some people are less thrilled about summer coming to a close. I came up with this look because I REALLY wanted to use Makeup Geek's Morocco eyeshadow. I've had it for a long time, but I don't use it much, which is a crying shame because it is a stunning color.
I love orange toned eye looks because they really make my eyes pop. I also added a touch of sparkle to the lid to make it pop even more. To see how I achieved this look, just keep reading.
1.) As always, the first thing I did was prime my eyes. This time I used Catrice's Camouflage Cream, which works as well, if not better, than any shadow primer.
2.) To set the concealer, I used Makeup Geek's eyeshadow in Baby Face.
3.) I applied Makeup Geek's Morocco onto the lid and lightly carried it into the crease.
4.) I blended just a teensy bit of Makeup Geek's Latte into the crease, followed by more of Morocco using a fluffy crease brush.
5.) For the sparkle and shine, I applied Makeup Geek's Foiled Shadow in Starry Eyed.
6.) Starry Eyed looked a bit harsh by itself, so I applied a little bit of Girlactick's Sparkle in Champagne on top of it to warm it up a bit.
7.) To prime my face, I used Catrice's Prime and Fine Smoothing Refiner.
8.) I applied a pump of Sonia Kashuk's new Soft Focus Satin Matte Foundation on my Cailyn O Wow brush and buffed it in. To conceal, I once again used the Catrice Camouflage Cream.
9.) To fill in my brows, I used my beloved Wet n Wild Ultimate Brow Mascara.
10.) For my lashes, I used a combination of L'Oreal Voluminous Primer and Max Factor's Masterpiece Max Mascara.
12.) To add a little bit of glow
13.) Finally, I applied Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Dolce and topped it with Jouer's Skinny Dip Lip Topper.
I liked this look so much that I wore it two days in a row. It actually looks like it could have been inspired by a pumpkin spice latte.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you soon!
Have a great weekend.
