FOTD: Go To Bold Look for Fall

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
It took me awhile, but I finally found a way to pull off the dark lips that are so on trend for fall.  And I did so in a way that tweaks the typical neutral eye that goes with it.  I love the shadow used.  It is an interesting mix of light green, gold and maybe even a dash of brown. This is the look I favor when I am feeling a bit more more bold and confident than usual.  I got some stares while rocking this look. Not sure if it is because I actually looked crazy or if it is due to the fact almost no one in Atlanta is adventurous with their makeup.
Products Used
Lorac's Behind The Scenes Eye Primer
bareMinerals Ready 2.0 Eyeshadow in The Scenic Route
Sephora Lash Perfecting Primer
Buxom Lash Mascara
Clinique Acne Solutions Foundation
Clinique Invisible Loose Powder
L'Oreal Infallible Lip Liner in Plum
Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte in 12 (Forbidden Burgundy)
Steps
1.) Apply the Lorac primer and let sit for just a minute.
2.) Using the light shade from The Scenic Route, apply it as a base color.
3.) Use the sage color on the lid and lower lash line.
4.) Use the plum lip liner to line and fill in your lips.
5.) Using Rouge Volupte 12, apply to lips and blot. Then apply again using a lip brush to make it look more precise.
6.) Using a concealer, apply just along the lining of your lips and blend out. I like doing this because it makes the application look more crisp and even.
7.) Apply foundation, mascara and loose powder. Voila, you're done.
