Fitness Friday: What I’m Listening To

Yeah for Friday!! And that means that we are only a week away from vacation. Can you tell I am just a little bit excited about Greece? I have been in a great pattern lately; feeling motivated, getting 4-5 workouts in a week and even trying some new things.

 

Workouts this week:

Saturday: I ended up doing Yoga Sculpt and a Spin Class for a 1200+ calorie burning workout. I was a sweaty, tired mess after and it was fantastic.

Sunday: 3 mile walk with the dogs

Monday: Off. Sleeping in until 6 felt glorious.

Tuesday: Yoga Sculpt

Wednesday: Cardio and Weights

Thursday: Off

Friday: Cardio and Weights this morning at the gym

Saturday: I may do both Sculpt and Spin again. I think that’s a pretty good Saturday morning.

 

My fitness rant of the week:

 

If you still look cute at the end of your work out you didnt train hard enough.

 

One of my biggest pet peeves at the gym. Women in full make-up, matchy matchy outfits who aren’t even sweating. They are there to look pretty and talk to guys. Get out of my way and let me get my workout in. That girl with no makeup, headphones in and working hard? That’s me. Leave me alone so I can work hard!!

 

My other pet peeve- bad music. I need good motivation to workout! I have actually left the gym because I didn’t have headphones or my iPod. My solution lately? The 12 workout stations on Pandora. These are awesome. Seriously! The 80′s cardio, classic rock and pop and hip hop stations really do play great music. If you see me bobbing my head and trying my hardest not to break out into a dance you know why

Another great app? Songza. The workout station plays really random fast paced songs. So if you get tired of hearing the same thing over and over checkout Songza.
