Fitness Friday: Setting Goals

Another full week home equals a great week of workouts! I feel so good when I have a routine and get to the gym 4-5 times a week.

 

Sunday: Cardio & Best Body Bootcamp as well as taking pictures for friends and walking around an apple orchard. It was 15,000+ step day on the Fitbit

Monday: Off

Tuesday: Yoga Sculpt

Wednesday: Cardio and Best Body Bootcamp

Thursday: Off

Friday: Cardio and Best Body Bootcamp

Saturday: I will probably head to a spin class

 

I only have 2 more weeks of Best Body Bootcamp and I was thinking about what I want to do next. Since I have crazy workout ADD I am looking for something new to try. So my goals for the next few months:

 

  • Workout 4-5 times a week
  • Try at least 3 next classes at the gym
  • Get back to Body Pump (if I can find a time that works with my schedule)
  • Keep lifting weights. I’ve never stopped but for the past year I have really focused on it and feel strong and healthy
  • More yoga. I really want to commit to at least a class or DVD a week of a more relaxing yoga. The Holidays can be really stressful for me and I want to focus on taking care of myself & yoga helps me do that.

 

I am trying out a soon to be released yoga DVD, it gets me practicing at home and it ties in with our upcoming trip to Greece. Shiva Rea, Yoga in Greece is a mix and match DVD with 7 different series. I did a quick test of one on Wednesday night and I loved it. My shoulders and core were really feeling it and all the scenery made me even more excited to visit Greece (Disclosure: Thanks for Acacia for sending this my way!)
