Fitness Friday Online Workouts

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

Online workouts have been a treat this week! With Scott out of town I knew I still needed to get workouts in and my family room was perfect for them. With unseasonably warm weather this week I have loved taking the dogs for a 30+ minute walk each day. They were incredibly excited to be getting out for longer walks and I was able to go out with just one layer instead of about 8! And the bonus of those walks, seeing what tiny bit of snow we had melt. We may only have a few tiny spots left in the backyard. Spring! Unfortunately I know that these 60 degree temps are not here to stay, we are back to our normal 40’s next week. That isn’t much to complain about but those warmer days feel so amazing.

After our walks each night it was wonderful to just open up the HP XP360, put it into tent mode and select the workout of the day.

Sunday: 21 Day Fix Extreme and a walk with the dogs

Monday: Walk with the dogs and Crunch Live Weigh Hard Cardio and a 15 min Brazilian toning workout (and my legs/arms were burning after that)

Tuesday: Walk with the dogs

Wednesday: Walk with the dogs and P90X3 on Beachbody on Demand

Thursday: Walk with the dogs and Chalene Extreme

Friday: Off! After a hard week of workouts I needed today off. I felt pretty sore.

Having variety this week was so nice! With a serious case of workout ADD changing it up is key to keeping me motivated.

It was also a great week for my fitness accesories, I finally got the Polar 90051951 Fitness and Activity Tracker with Heart Rate Monitor, Black

" target="_blank">Polar A300! I’ve been waiting for it to be released in the U.S. and it’s awesome. A step up from my Loop and I love that it looks like a watch, counts steps and I can connect my heart rate monitor to it. I’ve been using Polar products for 10+ years and I really do love them.

Some people don’t do well with all the data but I love knowing my step count and calories burned after workouts. It keeps me motivated. 10,000 is my goal and that can be really hard to get with just a work day. I sit most of the day and I even though I do have a longer walk from my car to my part of the office it is still not enough to get to 10,000. Workouts are key for that.
