The week after a holiday always feels like a long one, you are playing catch up from being off and there just isn’t enough time to get everything done. It was one of those weeks that my workouts suffered because of that. Not that best excuse every and at least I still got three workouts in and am planning on going tomorrow morning but I hate skipping the gym.
Sunday: Long walk with the dogs
Monday: Cardio and weights and another long walk with the dogs
Tuesday: Yoga Sculpt
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: Quick 30 minute DVD at home
Friday: Off
Saturday: Planning on yoga sculpt
While at the gym on Monday I was reading about a few new fitness apps, I downloaded and have been using them this week:
Tabata Pro Timer ($2.99): Perfect for those rounds of tabata, just enter in the number of rounds and get to work. It will count you down, give you the rest period and signal you to start again. Love it!
Fit Radio, great app for upbeat cardio music. Just select your genre and get going. Bonus? Songs that you don’t hear every hour on the radio right now.

Songza. Another music app that allows you to play music for your mood. I listened to music for waking up with energy this morning. So fun! You can listen online or through the app.
