Fifteen Weeks

Fifteen Weeks

Did you notice the color changed from blue to pink?! It's because we're having a GIRL!

How far along? Fifteen weeks and six days

Baby's size? Baby is the size of a box of crayons this week

Baby's nickname? Her daddy has been calling her by her name - he chose it. I've been calling her baby girl because I keep going back and forth on her name. I won't be sharing her name until I'm certain of what it's going to be and that might be once she's born.

Maternity clothes? Yes! I finally went and bought some maternity tops this weekend. Much needed! Now I need maternity pants. Exercise? I got in a good full body workout with my trainer and I did lots of walking. My body gets so achy after being on my feet now for too long.

Sleep: Still getting lots of good sleep in. I do wake up often to pee but I usually feel rested in the mornings. Today I actually took a nap in the afternoon but that's not an everyday thing anymore now that I'm in the second trimester.

Best moment this week: Finding out that we're having a girl.

Miss anything? I really didn't miss anything this week.

Movement: I definitely felt her kicking yesterday. I've thought I felt her in the past but this time I know for sure it was her. Last night her daddy put his hand on my belly hoping to feel her but he couldn't. I think at this point I can only feel her from the inside.
Food cravings: There were a few days where I wanted Watermelon Sour Patch but other than that, no major cravings this week.

Anything making you queasy or sick: No, this week was a pretty good week as far as queasiness goes. I've learned to avoid tomatoes, even on my sandwiches. I think that's what was causing the sharp pains in my stomach.
Gender: GIRL! Ya'll for weeks I really did think I was having a boy. I even bought a blue dress to wear to our gender reveal. But then like I mentioned in my post last week, after our last sonogram I started to feel like we were having a girl. I would have been extremely happy either way. I'm excited to dress her and do her hair and play Barbies with her. I've already told Stephen I'm going to teach him how to braid and do pony tails.
Symptoms: Just an aching body after being on my feet too long. Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy. I don't think I've been moody at all this week. Oh, except when Stephen took me to Lowe's after I told him I was exhausted. To be fair, the trip to Lowe's was for me but I did get pretty cranky while we were there.

Looking forward to: Getting baby girl's nursery together and buying her lots of pretty things.

Pink cake!

My blue Lularoe dress that I bought thinking I was having a boy. You can't tell from the front but my baby bump was very noticeable in this dress. Note to self - I need a better selfie mirror.

Fifteen Weeks

I went back to brown hair, by the way. My roots were driving me crazy.
Fifteen Weeks

Buying my first maternity tops. I went for some basic long sleeves and sweaters to get me through the colder weather.
Fifteen Weeks

We bought baby girl these shoes. I picked the pink ones and daddy picked the moccasins.
